Here's hoping that Europe will forgive this rather bold homage! I couldn't think of a better way to announce that Cri8iversary isn't going down without a fight! After very nearly succeeding the last round, and due to the umpteenth technical glitches, the event is back with a new schedule packed full with events and activities to celebrate Cri8ive's first year on the Web. We're starting on Friday, May 23rd and the final event, with the Wheel of Fortune, will be held on Sunday, June 1rst

Cri8versary is back, from April 25th to May 4th

After the latest, semi-successful attempt at a reboot, the Cri8iversary is back! Discover the new schedule packed full with events and activities to celebrate Cri8ive's first year on the Web. We're starting on Friday, April 25th and the final event, with the Wheel of Fortune, will be held on Sunday, May 4th. (And of course, we just couldn't let pass the coincidence of a closing day on the same date as Star War Days - but you'll read more about it below).

The Cri8iversary seems to be plagued with ill luck. Ever since I kicked off the event, a series of setbacks and unforseen complications caused me to postpone it not just once, but thrice over, much to my chagrin. As Brandon Lee said in "The Crow", however, "it can't rain all the time". So welcome back, once again, the new Cri8iversary program that should run - and I'm not jinxing it! - from today to Sunday 20th, overlapping with the Easter weekend.

If you follow my Social Profiles, you'll have noticed an incongrous lack of updates after the first two days. And you might have wondered if the Meta algorythm was somehow to blame for it. That's not what happened.

Art contest "Limoniamo 2025"

The italian art and grapics contest "Limoniamo" returns in 2025, but there's only a few hours left to enter. The contest is organized by The Hub Trentino Sudtirol on behalf of Floricultura Roncador Valentino, and offers a playful spin on the analogy between the italian term for the lemon fruit and the verb "limonare" (the italian equivalent to "snogging"). Creatives and graphic designers all over Italy are called out to unleash their imagination and give it a run.
