Shift Happens; Cri8iversary rescheduled

Due to a series of technical problems, the Cri8iversary Week has been rescheduled - and expanded. Find out when - and how you can join!

Why the Cri8iversary Week got rescheduled

"Anything that can go wrong will go wrong" - Murphy's Law.

This could describe in a nutshell the series of problems and setbacks - for the most part technical - that have befallen what was slated to be the program for the Cri8iversary Week. If you follow my Social Profiles, you'll have noticed an incongrous lack of updates after the first two days. And you might have wondered if the Meta algorythm was somehow to blame for it. That's not what happened.

What did happen was that a series of unforseen complications occurred. And then snowballed into yet bigger complications. And then spiraled onward. And the next thing I knew, the Cri8iversary Week was over, and I hadn't been able to put up any of what I had lovingly planned and staged to celebrate the site's first birthday. If you've ever experienced the feeling of watching your work crumble and your hype deflate, you'll agree with me; it plain out sucks. Big time.

But well, that's happened, and there's no use crying over spilled milk. If there's one thing over 20 years of creative work have taught me, it's that there's hardly any challenge that can't be overcome. It's nerve-grating... time consuming... and sometimes very stressful, but ultimately things will work out as planned.

So let's announce, for the second time, the rescheduled (and expanded) Cri8iversary!

The Cri8iversary is back - and it got better!

All-new Cri8iversary program

I had originally intended for the Cri8iversary to stretch over seven days. But since, as you know, that plan didn't work out well, the rescheduled version has been expanded, and now covers a full 10 days of celebrations. But what does each day has in store? Let's find out.

Fri 14th - Inauguration Sale. A special discount on all Cri8ive products, to kickstart the event.

Sat 15th - Three Q&A sessions (Morning | Afternoon | Evening) where I'll be available on all my Social Media channels to answer all your questions on graphics, content creating, art, and all my Cri8ive projects past, present and future. 

Sun 16th - (Morning) Webinar "Why you should choose Cri8ive?" on the Blog and on Cri8ive Video. Follows: Q&A here on the Blog. | (Evening) Webinar "False myths and common mistakes on the Web" on the Blog and Cri8ive Video. Follows: Q&A here on the Blog.

Mon 17th - Flash Sale Day with various limited time special offers posted on the Cri8ive Social Media channels. The first three people to comment are eligible to earn exclusive deals on the various Cri8ive services!

Tue 18th - (Morning) Webinar "Professional translation for your services" here on the Blog. Follows: free 1x1 translating sessions (italian-english, english-italian) on my Social Media profiles (don't like Socials? Send me an e-mail).

Wed 19th - Interactive quiz on creativity, in 2 sessions (Morning | Evening). A score of at least 10 correct answers makes you eligible for exclusive Cri8ive prizes!

Thur 20th - Back to the Cri8ive; a video retrospective on Cri8ive Videos detailig visually how my works and services have improved over the last 20+ years.

Fri 21rst - Games Galore Day. (Morning) Virtual Scratch & Win on the site. (Evening) Cri8iversary Lottery on my Social Media channels. Five winners will be sorted - and you can win all kinds of Cri8ive goods!

Sat 22nd - Sketchapalooza... with a twist. Whereas the original Cri8iversary only devoted one day to free (traditional) sketches, now the Sketchapalooza will go on through all 10 days of celebration with a few sketches posted each day, culminating in a full-day free sketch event on Saturday.

Sun 23rd - Wheel of Fortune. The original closing number for the Cri8iversary returns - with many a fun opportunity to win exclusive prizes and discounts on various Cri8ive services!
