Art contest "Limoniamo 2025"

The italian art and grapics contest "Limoniamo" returns in 2025, but there's only a few hours left to enter. The contest is organized by The Hub Trentino Sudtirol on behalf of Floricultura Roncador Valentino, and offers a playful spin on the analogy between the italian term for the lemon fruit and the verb "limonare" (the italian equivalent to "snogging"). Creatives and graphic designers all over Italy are called out to unleash their imagination and give it a run.

The art contest marks yet another edition

The rules for this year's art contest do not differ significantly from the earlier editions. Submissions must represent the double meaning of the the word "lemon", intended both as the fruit and as the snog, in creative, ironic and playful ways. The winning entry will be used for promotional contents, and exposed in the Floricultura Roncador Valentino well until 2026.

All materials and techniques are allowed. Creatives have the utmost freedom and may interpret the theme as they best see fit. However, all entries must be original, and not infringe any third-party copyright. It is unclear whether this excludes AI-generated images (I would think so, but I am biased; I think AI contents should be disqualified in all non AI-specific contests).

All entries, reflecting the theme of the contest, must be perfectly square, with 300dpi resolution and max. allowed weight of 10 MB. Both .jpg and .png formats are fully allowed.

The winner of Limoniamo 2025 will receive a 300 eur reward, as well as any additional honorable mention. Subsequently, the selected winner/s will send their entries to Floricultura Roncador Valentino in a high-definition file for print (2mx2m).

Limoniamo 2025 - how do I enter?

Limoniamo 2025 is held online and entering's just as easy as it comes. You'll find the complete rules on the site of Floricultura Roncador Valentino. All entries must be e-mailed at progetti@hubtrentino.it, whereas personal details shall be sent through the dedicated form on the website. The art contest is completely free and there are no partecipation fees required; however, only italian artists (or artists currently residing in Italy) may enter.

All entries for Limoniamo 2025 must be submitted by 12PM (CET) at February 5th, 2025. With only a few hours left to enter, artists are rushing to send in their works. Cri8ive will submit an all-original illustration that you will also find on Cri8ive Art oncethe results are in.
