Twenty years of experience as a content creator
When I speak of the Cri8iversary, I mean the first anniversary of the Cri8ive site (and brand). But as can be seen from my portfolio at a glance, Cri8ive is but the tip of the iceberg. My history as content creator dates back well over twenty years ago.
Back in 2004, I was already dabbing into web design with a professional outlook. Even in my earliest sites you won't find frames or an haphazard mess of animated gif; twenty years ago I created custom case studies for my clients, validated the code according to the W3C standards and created multiple interfaces to ensure that sites would be functional (and visually appealing) both on 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768 res - at a time when responsive design was but a fancyful dream.
Internet has changed and evolved deeply ever since. Nowadays, those ancient sites have only aged so much well, but are the living proof of an ever-ongoing path to creativity that I still follow to date. In the following years, I studied vector graphics, layout, printing techniques and packaging solutions. As an accomplished copywriter, I wrote articles for magaznes, blog posts, and all kinds of texts for news sites, portals and newsletters. I also got acquainted to the full potential of the world of animation; firstly through the use Flash and, in later years, with professional video editing suites. I've since directed and edited video commercials, motion comics and semi-animatic music videos.
